Micro Social includes a reblogging feature, allowing you to share posts with your comments. This provides a way to share thoughts on existing content directly within the app, similar to a “retweet with comment” or “boost” on other platforms.
How Reblogging Works
- Select Reblog: When viewing a post, choose the “Reblog” option.
- Add Your Comments: A screen appears where you can add your thoughts below the original post. The original post’s link is uneditable to maintain context.
- Post Your Reblog: Share your reblog as you would any other post. Your comments appear below the linked original content.

This feature is designed to encourage constructive commentary.
- Original Content Integrity: The original post’s link cannot be edited or removed, ensuring the context remains clear.
- Encouraged Conduct: The reblogging screen includes text that encourages users to avoid significantly altering the original quote.
- Formatting: Reblogged posts appear in a consistent format across all platforms, ensuring readability wherever they are viewed. * Optional, unique Micro Social styling for reblogs may be available in future updates, but this does not affect how they appear in other apps.
